a fun assortment of love tokens with initials that meant something to someone in the 1800s and may also hold sentimental value in your lifetime — your initials? initials of your loved ones? something else?

these are being sold as-is, meaning that some of them have holes (we can add a jump ring bail if you'd like — send a message if that's your preference when you order) and others don't, which leaves the possibility of adding a soldered bail, having a jeweler build a frame for it, or having it turned into a ring.

Victorian era love tokens were created both as folk art keepsakes made at home by someone practicing their engraving craft, and by skilled professional jewelers who offered engraving services. The assortment being offered today is an example of the hand engraving consistent with a jeweler's level of skill.

they're old old and in pretty remarkable condition for their age, but they will show all sorts of quirks from their various previous lifetimes. 

all are seated liberty dimes, which are 900 silver (90% silver + 10% copper)

they vary in weight slightly depending on wear and how much silver was removed when the coin was refaced before engraving was added — they range between 1.7 and 2.2 grams each
