umm, this was likely intended to be a lion on a pedestal as a leo zodiac, but it really looks like a foo dog on a skateboard against a psychedelic sky. t's a spectacularly large, bold, artisan made piece from Mexico with a bright, iridescent natural abalone inlaid around the silver animal

the abalone seems to be a single piece of shell around the silver figure and the space between the animal's legs are resin(?)

the shell's luster is in good condition but it is a natural shell in a vintage pendant, so there are imperfections throughout the surface
